At about 09.38, on December 24, a fire broke out in the “Nairit” Ltd. Eleven fire brigades, two ambulances and water carriers immediately left for the site.

Edik Barseghyan, head of the Armenian Rescuers’ Service, the heads of Rescuers’ Service departments also arrived on the scene.

According to the Rescuers’ Service, the cause of the fire was lacquer chemical substance.

Thanks to the joint efforts of the fire brigades, the fire was put out; its further expansion and the threat of explosion were prevented.

To note, on December 22, at about 11:11 another fire broke out in shop 1/7 of the same factory. The fire was caused by gas leakage. The fire was put out at about 11:36.
