ONE SEAT IS DECISIVE FOR THE MUNICIPALITY
Support A1+!It turns out that the Yerevan municipality is concerned not over the objects disturbing the residents of blocks of flats but over the objects of food and other services having more than 50 seats. The decision of the municipality, under which objects are to change their activity within two months' time, doesn't involve objects of food having 49 seats and located on the ground floor of buildings.
Thus, we can assume that the bakeries disturb the city residents, whereas the city municipality isn't concerned over «bars» having 40 seats, the loud music of which directly penetrates into the homes of peaceful residents.
Karen Gevorgyan, the head of the trade department notes that the activity of bars, restaurants and other suchlike entertainment objects is regulated by other law. The key issues the municipality is concerned with are the above-mentioned objects having more than 50 seats. And in case the citizens have complaints on this score the municipality is ready to help with joint efforts of the district heads and police forces.
