OLD TROUBLES IN NEW BUILDING
Support A1+!The State Jazz and Pop College of Yerevan has moved to new premises. The former building was privatized by “Avangard Motors” Company and the college appeared in a hopeless state.
Presently, the college occupies the 3rd-4th floors of the former technical school on 37 Bagratunyants.
“We would like to have our own building with a large and light hall. The first two floors are taken by a Cultural College,” the head of the Jazz and Pop College Axel Bakunts told A1+.
According to Axel Bakunts, they had redecorated the rooms with the compensation allotted by “Avangard Motors.” The Ministry of Culture promised to redecorate the corridors.
The College faces some problems with heating as the building is in a sorry plight. They will have to go on holiday as soon as cold winds blow.
To note, over 129 students attend the college.
