This morning prose writer, film script writer, artist, honored culture worker of the Republic of Armenia, laureate of the State Award of the Soviet Socialist Republic of Armenian, laureate of the Derenik Demirchian Award of the Writers’ Union of Armenia Aghasi Ayvazian passed away at the age of 82.

Aghasi Ayvazian was born in 1925 in the Georgian settlement of Abastuman.

Aghasi Ayvazian worked in many establishments as animator, designer and journalist.

Connected with the death of famous prose writer Aghasi Aryvazian a state commission was formed chaired by RA Deputy Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamian .
