Two fishermen got drowned in the “Armash” fish-breeding lake in the village of Surenavan, Ararat marz, at 6.00 on August 25. Divers were sent for to take out the corpses.

According to the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia divers took out the bodies of Ararat’s citizen Hrair Hovsepian, 1968, and Yerevan’s citizen Andranik Arabian, 1987, at about 10:50 and handed to law-enforcement bodies.

FIRE

A fire burst out in a lakeside wood on the 8th km of Shorja-Drakhtik intercommunity road at 14.45 on August 25. A fire brigade was sent out shortly afterwards.

The fire was extinguished at 15:40.

One-hectare grass burnt down in the result of the fire.
