NOT AN EXTERMINATING LIQUID

Social

On October 30 the “LoriWaterSewer” CJSC and the Lori province division of the Environmental Protection state department received a call that an unknown red liquid was being poured into the Pambak River. It turned out that the red liquid was actually red paint which somebody had carelessly poured into the river.

Experts of the Lori province Environmental Protection state department took some samples of the water. We didn’t manage to find out how much damage the paint caused the river and that was due to the careless attention of the experts at the Lori Territorial Division of the state Environmental Protection department.

Twenty days after the incident, we finally managed to get information from head of the Lori Territorial Division of the environmental protection state department of the ministry administration Armen Gharagyozyan. Gharagyozyan handed the report of the temporary functionary of the chief of Lori Territorial Division, which states: “Taking into account the fact that the contamination took place in two hours and the fact that the red paint in the water fades away, we can conclude that it could not have led to the extermination of the animal world and the flora.”
