ZAQARYAN IS NOT GUILTY OF ASHOT’S FAILURE

”I haven’t yet got the answer to why heavyweight Ashot Danielyan didn’t raise the weight”, Ishkhan Zaqaryan, Chairman of Armenia’s Sport Committee and Olympic Committee, announced.
Mr. Zaqaryan is aware that Ashot Danielyan has always started from 200 kg in all the contests /it’s the weight which Ashot couldn’t raise in Athens/. “Ashot was under my direct control all the time. So I exclude that either he didn’t get prepared well or he prepared badly”, Zaqaryan says.
Ishkhan Zaqaryan doesn’t consider himself guilty of Ashot’s failure. “I won’t go to raise a weight instead of anyone or to show a wrestling trick”, Zaqaryan said.
