NEW GENERATION OF REFEREES
Support A1+!Today in the Armenian Football Federation the final diplomas were given to the graduates of the Referees School. The School is the only one in CIS and is in the building of the Yerevan State Physical Culture Institute. The education is free of charge and lasts for 2 years. In contrast to previous years, this year there were many women among the graduates.
The larger part of the students was once football-players, who now try to become referees.
Vahram Araqelyan, rector of the Yerevan State Physical Culture Institute, said that at the center of the most scandalous events in football are always the referees and their role in this sport is very important.
Aram Grigoryan, principal of the school, added that the school can already be considered realized, although not many people believed it before.
