ARMENIAN CHESS PLAYERS STILL HAVE CHANCE TO RECEIVE MEDALS
Support A1+!The Aeroflot Tournament is coming to an end. Our grand masters Vladimir Hakobyan, Levon Aronyan, Artashes Minasyan and Tigran Pertosyan gained 0.5 point in the 7th tour. Gabriel Sargsyan won a victory over Rafel Vaganyan while Karen Asryan defeated Robert Fontanie. The Armenian chess players of the A group have almost lost the chance to win the first place. Vladimir Hakobyan is however likely to become one of the winners.
Arsen Eghiazaryan has also been successful. He defeated Vyacheslav Ikonnikov and now heads the list with other several chess players.
Though there are still 2 tours left till the end of the tournament, we can say that our chess players could show better results.
