ARMENIAN YOUTH TEAM WILL LEAVE FOR SAN MARINO
Support A1+!The Armenian youth team will leave for San Marino at the head of chief coach Samvel Petrosyan to participate in the qualification first phase of the European championship of 21- year -old participants which will be held on May 15. Our team will meet with representatives of San Marino.
The following 18 footballers play in the team; goal-keepers Artur Harutounyan and Edgar Gasparyan (both from “Pyunik”), backs Robert Arzumanyan, Valeri Alexanyan and Hayk Chilingaryan (all from “Pyunik”), Artashes Baghdasaryan (“Kilikia”), Artur Stepanyan (“Saturn,” Russia), half-backs Armen Tigranyan, Mkhitar Grigoryan, Rafael Safaryan, Gevorg Ghazaryan and Boris Melkonyan (all from “Pyunik”), Samvel Melkonyan and Suren Sargsyan (both from “Banants”), forwards Alexander Petrosyan and Tigran Gharabaghtsyan (both from “Pyunik”), Arsen Balabekyan and Artak Oseyan (both from “Banants”).
The Armenian Football Federation will be headed by member of the AFF executive committee Artak Mnatsakanyan. The latter will be accompanied by chief coach of the team under 19 Armen Gulbudaghyants and chief coach of the team under 17 Arsen Chilingaryan.
The Armenia – San Marino response meeting will be held in Yerevan in June. By the way, provided our team wins this meeting, it will participate in the group tournament, where the team will meet with Norway and Bosnia for the finals.
