The Blindfold and Rapid Chess Tournament was resumed after a day's rest. To remind, 12 grand masters participate in the Monte Carlo chess international tournament.

Armenian GM Levon Aronyan tied with Svidler in the 5th tour. The leader of the tournament Kramnik was beaten by Ivanchuk 0.5:1.5. Presently Ivanchuk, Kramnik and Aronyan share the leading place with 7 points each.

Svidler and Anand have got 6 points and share the forth place.
