RA chess players were a success at the second tour of Europe Chess Championship held in Dresden. Karen Asryan, Rafael Vahanyan, Tigran Petrosyan, Elina Danielyan won at the championship, whereas Gabriel Sargsyan, Lilit Mkrtchyan and Artashes Minasyan tied the meeting.

As a matter of fact, this was the second time Petrosyan, Vahanyan and Danielyan have won a victory over their competitors.
