The meetings of the sixth tour of the European Individual Chess Championship have come to an end. Armenian GM enjoyed his first victory beating Boris Esen. To reminds, Sargsyan tied the previous five meetings.

Karen Asryan and Ashot Anastasyan also enjoyed victory. It is noteworthy that the sixth tour was unsuccessful for the RA GMs. Rafael Vahanyan, Zaven Andreasyan, suffered losses whereas Arman Pashikyan, Artashes Minasyan and Tigran Petrosyan gained 0.5 points.

Elina Danielyan stands out in the Individual Women’s Championship. She has gained 4.5 points and currently occupies the forth place.
