Hovhannes Davtyan enjoyed the victory in the World Judo Super-Cup held in Moscow. He took the first place in the 60-kilogram category. Prior to the Moscow tournament, Hovhannisyan was awarded a silver medal in the European Championship.

Another Armenian sportsman Mesrop Barbaryan took the fifth place in the 66-kilogram category.

The Armenian judo team is currently on a training course in Padolsk.

The team is back in Yerevan on May 12. At the moment the Armenian judoists are being prepared for the World Cup next phase which kicks off in Bucharest on May 19-20.
