ARONIAN STILL IN SOLE LEAD
Support A1+!Armenian Grand Master Levon Aronian beat Alexander Marozevich from (Russia) 2:0 at the “Amber-2008” International Chess Tournament underway in Nice, France. He won the blindfold and rapid games thus securing a winner’s title. World champion Viswanathan Anand lost to Vasili Ivanchuk of Ukraine 0.5:1.5.
After the 9th round Aronian is still in sole lead with 12.5 points. Kramink, Leko and Ivanchuk share the second spot with 10 points apiece.
