“ARARAT” HAS TO LEAVE THE UEFA CUP

In the UEFA Cup first qualifying round “Ararat” lost to “Belinzona” (1:3) in Lugano, Switzerland.

On July 17 in the first match that took place in Abovyan, Armenia “Belinzona” was able to win a 1:0 victory against “Ararat”. Thus, “Ararat” had to win the second match in order to continue the struggle. However, already in the first half, Switzerland managed to score 3 goals, to which Armenia answered in the second half with Hrayr Mkoyan’s single goal.

Thus, “Ararat” was beaten 1:4 and had to leave the further struggle.
