FOUR LEGIONARIES STAYED IN BANANTS
Support A1+!Yerevan’s “Banants” has refused the services of legionaries Evgeny Matyugin, Vitaly Ledenyov and Dmitri Parkhomenko, Banants’ President Sargis Israelyan informed A1+.
Skillful footballers Eghishe Melikyan and Romik Khachatryan will not participate in the next season either.
Sargis Israelyan says four other legionaries Noa Kasule, Simeon Zlatev, Marko Ganchev and Andrey Burdiyan will continue to play in the team.
Bulgarian Zlatev and Ganchev arrived in Armenia at the beginning of the year with the team’s ex coach Nikolay Kostov.
Note that Banants took the fifth place in the Armenian Football Championship-2008 though the team won twice silver medals during the previous championships. Banants underwent serious changes in 2008. A number of key footballers left the team, besides, Banants changed four coaches.
