Armenia’s best sportsman of 2008 Gabriel Sargsyan will participate in the Moscow Open-2009 annual tournament due in Moscow from January 31 to February 8.
The participants are usually involved in A, B and C groups. This year the tournament features 1502 chess players worldwide. The Armenian delegation was usually comprised of 20-30 sportsmen. This year the delegation includes more sportsmen.
The winner of the World Olympiad Gabriel Sargsyan enjoys the highest rating among Armenian chess players.
