Karaganda instead of Zhilina?
Former striker of the Armenian youth football team and the "Pyunik" team Tigran Gharabaghtsyan has returned to Yerevan from the Slovakian city of Zhilina. Tigran was on probation in the "Zhilina" club of Slovakia, but didn't have a contract.
For nearly a month the Armenian striker was training at the "Zhilina" club, but was forced to leave due to circumstances. Gharabaghtsyan told "A1+" that during his last days in the clu there were more strikers added to the team and he was forced to leave.
Two strikers from the Turkish and German teams were hired to play for "Zhilina". Due to the financial crisis, foreign teams are not able to pay the salaries of the players and the Slovaks have returned to their familiar team. This was the reason why Gharabaghtsyan's stay was put in jeopardy and the Armenian striker preferred to return to Armenia.
"I have offers from a couple of foreign teams.Unfortunately, I can no longer play in Europe because there are no more transfers. I have an offer from the "Shakhtyor" team of Karaganda (Kazakhstan), which is holding a sport/instruction match in Antalia. If that works out, I will soon join that team," said Tigran Gharabaghtsyan.
The football player also said that he wants to play in one of the European teams in the summer.
"I will try to move to Europe when the transfers begin in the summer. I have offers from Polish teams."
Tigran Gharabaghtsyan used to play for the "Banantsum", "Pyunik" teams of Yerevan, as well as the "Cherno More" team of Varna.
