Aronian beats Eljanov
Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian retained the sole lead by confident win over Ukrainian Pavel Eljanov at the 2009 FIDE Grand Prix chess tournament.
Levon Aronian presently heads the list with 6.5 points, followed by Peter Leko with 6 points.
Evgeny Alekseev, Alexander Grischuk and Vladimir Akobyan share the third place with 5.5 points.
