Leko equaled with Aronian
The situation is rather tense in Nalchik ahead of the last round of the 4th FIDE Grand Prix Tournament. Levon Aronian and Peter Leko head the list with 7.5 points each.
The two grandmasters will compete in the final 13th round to decide the winner of the tournament.
Armenian GM Levon Aronian played a tie with Gatta Kamski (USA) in round 12. In the same round Peter Leko beat Rustam Kasimjanov of Uzbekistan thus equaling with Levon Aronian.
Vladimir Akobyan played a draw with Israeli Boris Gelfand. In the last round Vladimir Akobyan is to compete with Pavel Eljanov of Ukraine. Provided that the Armenian GM beats his contender he will take the second place.
