Pyunik-Banants - 4:1
Several teams scored a success at the eighth round of the Armenian Football Championship
The second-place holder of the championship, Banants hosted leader Pyunik. The outcome of the match was decided at the 32nd minute when Pyunik's halfback Edgar Malakyan scored the third unanswered goal. The previous two goals were kicked by Henrikh Mkhitaryan. At the 58th minute Banants' footballer Artak Dashyan scored a goal reducing the score difference but in a little while Henrikh Mkhitaryan kicked the fourth goal.
The championship list is topped by Pyunik with 22 points followed by Banants (18 points) and Mika (17 points). The latter won over Kapan's Gandzasar by a score of 2 to 0. Aram Voskanyan and Stepan Hakobyan stood out among the team footballers.
After beating Kilikia 1:0, Ulysses took the fourth place with 16 points.
