Armenian GM Levon Aronian took the lead of "Grand Slam" chess tournament in Bilbao after defeating Alexander Grischuk of Russia in the 4^rd round.

Sergey Karjakin played a tie with Alexei Shirov.

After the four rounds the standings are as follows: Levon Aronian-9 points, Alexander Grischuk-6, Sergey Karjakin-5 and Alexei Shirov-2.
