Lecturer sent to prison
Kentron and Nork-Marash District Court today sentenced Armen Chughuryan, a member of the Prosperous Armenia Party, lecturer of Yerevan State Institute of Economy, to a three-year imprisonment.
Armen Chughuryan is charged with bribery. He reportedly took $5 000 from a Yerevan citizen.
During a conversation with A1+ Advocate Varduhy Elbakyan said they are going to appeal to the Court of Appeals.
