"Orange Armenia" company currently lacks profit and there are more losses," said Director General of the company Bruno Dyutuan today. He added that they began to receive the first profits in November and those financial entries are not enough to take care of expenses.

The company made a 95 million dollar investment in 2009. In addition, all expenses for late 2008 and 2009, including 51.5 million euros for obtaining a license, made up a total of 140 million euros. "They are large amounts of money, but we must take into account the pretensions and that our company has entered the Armenian market," said Mr. Dyutuan.

He proudly mentioned that they have already exceeded the 100,000 subscriber indicator. By the end of the week, "Orange Armenia" will already have 120,000 subscribers and it is foreseen that the company will have 150,000 subscribers by the end of the year. According to Bruno Dyutuan, their network covers 83 percent of Armenia's territory and everybody can use the 3Generation Internet services. In fact, 5,000 subscribers are using the company's Internet service and the number of subscribers exceeds the company's predictions because they had foreseen to have 4,000 subscribers by the end of this year.

Bruno Dyutuan said that the company is satisfied with the work on the Internet since the launch of activities on November 5. "We managed to solve a number of issues that were inevitable, particularly quality of Internet service. As you know, those issues sparked mainly in November and early December. The reason for the issues was the high number of subscribers and we couldn't respond to them rapidly. Those issues have already been solved and we provide regular service," he assured, adding that they had an exclusive record of Internet service in the past couple of days.
