168 crimes in Vayots Dzor
The subdivisions of the regional police headquarters in Vayots Dzor registered 168 crimes of which 151 were revealed in the past 11 months of 2009.
According to police, there were 31 heavy crimes of which 23 were revealed.
All 10 cases of keeping and illegally circulating drugs were revealed. Out of the 48 cases of crimes against social security and health, 46 were revealed. All 14 registered cases of keeping arms and ammunition have been revealed. The police also registered 45 cases of crimes against property of which 34 were revealed.
In the past 11 months of 2009, 94% of the crimes have been revealed compared to 78.5% in the previous year.
