Son killed his parents
On December 25 at around 3:30 a.m. policemen from the Vardenis police headquarters arrested Artur Nazaryan (born in 1974) on V. Sargsyan Street.
It turned out that on the same day at around 1 a.m., Artur Nazaryan cut the throats of his parents, Shamir (born in 1936) and Lyudmila Nazaryan (born in 1946) with a kitchen knife during a debate at their home in the Shatvan village of Gegharkunik region.
Artur Nazaryan fled the scene of the crime and wished to leave for the Russian Federation. The knife has been confiscated and Artur Nazaryan is under arrest. Circumstances are being clarified and preliminary investigation is underway.
