Increase in gas price will affect fair
Armenian drivers today felt the impact of gas price hike after filling stations raised the price of liquefied gas.
"Yesterday we bought a gas cylinder for 1800 drams while today we had to pay 2000 drams," a minibus driver told A1+.
"If they do not reduce "daily plan", we shall be forced to raise fares," he added.
The advance in gas price will lead to an advance in prices for nonfoods.
Starting April 1, individual consumers will have to pay 132 drams instead of former 96 per one cubic meter of gas.
For the enterprises consuming over 10 000 cubic meter of gas a month, the rate will be $243.13 per 1 000 cubic meters instead of present $215.
