Money for SMSs has been returned
Mobile phone operator "Orange Armenia" has returned the money to subscribers whose SMSs weren't delivered during the vote for "Eurovision" round in Armenia.
Some of the SMSs really weren't sent on the day of the vote and the producer hadn't taken that into account. I must say that there were no problems with the network on that day and all subscribers' messages had been sent to the provider. However, for some reason, they weren't delivered," said public relations correspondent at "Orange" Lilit Martirosyan.
According to her, the company had asked the provider for the list of messages from "Intermob" company to find out which messages were counted and which were not.
"We compared and based on the list, we returned the money to subscribers. It was obvious that if the message had been sent and not delivered, the money had to be returned," said Lilit Martirosyan.
The pre-electoral round of "Eurovision-2010" Armenia was held on February 14. Singer Eva Rivas won the pre-electoral round with 6,000 votes, while Emmy received 1,400.
Emmy's mother, Nadezhda Sargsyan, doesn't accept the results of the vote to this day and says she will file an appeal to the court.
Armenia's representative Eva Rivas will perform during the second semi-final of "Eurovision-2010" to be held in Oslo on May 27 along with representatives from 17 other countries.
