Device for controlling emotions
People who are not able to speak or move can communicate with each other through a new computer device.
"A person's brain can write through mind and eyes," creator of the device, professor of Neurophysiology at the University of Luven, Marc Van Hulle told "A1+".
"The detectors attached to the head allow the person to write each of the letters of the pronounced word in 20 seconds through a computerized system," says the scientist, adding that work is currently being done to make the system distance.
According to the professor, in addition to being an important discovery, this invention will also be a turning point for all those who are conscious, but unable to express themselves.
The invention just recently received the grand prize set by the Belgian king in the sphere of science. Neurophysiologist Marc Van Hulle is currently working on creating another device that will control a person's emotions.
"You can imagine the radical changes that will take place in people's lives, if this turns out to be a success. This will make it possible to control humans by controlling their emotions," says the scientist.
For his experiments, Hul has used the violin for help because it ensures reactions through low and high melodious transitions to the maximum. Helping him with this is Armenian violinist of Brussels, Tigran Maytesyan.
