Landslide hampered railway traffic

Landslide caused by continuous rains halted train traffic on the 10th km of Vanadzor-Alaverdi covering the railway with a 500-metre layer of soil.

Thanks to the efforts of local rescuers, the road was partially cleaned yesterday evening. The traffic was temporally resumed.

Special equipment was provided from Yerevan for removing huge blocks from the railway.
