The RA Public Services Regulatory Commission totally objects the appeal filed by the ANC and 7230 citizens.

On April 19, an appeal was filed to the RA Administrative Court with the demand to recognize the PSRC's decision on gas inflation as invalid.

The commission has evaluated the arguments in the appeal as groundless based on several facts. For instance, according to the PSRC, the argument of the plaintiff according to which "ArmRusGazard" has been receiving gas at a constant, wholesale price of 60,000 drams for the past five years is not true.

As far as the number of employees is concerned, according to objections, it doesn't depend on volume of consumption, but "the number of the company's subscribers that grow each year."

"We also argue that the PSRC hasn't seen a raise in the average salaries of the employees or the chief of staff," as stated in the objections.

The objections are posted on the PSRC's website at www.psrc.am.
