Two hundred dolls were showcased at History of Yerevan Museum on International Children's Defense Day and among them were the three 100-year old dolls prepared by doll maker Sofia Akhsharumova.

According to director of the History of Yerevan Museum Armine Sargsyan, in addition to dolls by famous doll makers, there were also works by schoolchildren, as well as samples of Armenian dolls tracing back to up to 50 years.

The exhibition was opened by a dance by Inga and Inessa. Nine-year old Inga still hasn't decided which doll she liked best, while 7-year old Inessa indicated which doll she liked and it was the one that was 100 years old. Inessa especially liked that doll since it had a beautiful dress with earrings and red lipstick.

There to congratulate the children was their beloved doll Guffi who held a contest for the children and gave toys to the winners. There was a corner where those who wished could learn how to prepare an Armenian Nuri doll.

The dolls will entertain the children until June 5.
