Hasmik Sinanyan will take it back too?

Social

Former student of school N11 of Nubarashen Diana Amirkhanyan has taken her appeal back from the Appeals Court. Her appeal was against the verdict announced by Erebuni and Nubarashen districts' first instance court. Advocates Avag Lalayan and Tigran Hayrapetyan today announced that they had found out about that yesterday in the courtroom, but Diana Amirkhanyan and Hasmik Sinanyan had not shown up to the trial.

Advocate Tigran Hayrapetyan doesn't exclude that Hasmik Sinanyan will soon take her appeal back as well.

Based on the testimonies of Diana Amirkhanyan, Hasmik Sinanyan and other students, schoolteacher Levon Avagyan had been sentenced to two years in prison for committing violence and immoral acts.

Mariam Sukhudyan, who used to work as a volunteer at the night school, is convinced that Diana Malkhasyan was under pressure.

Diana Malkhasyan told Mariam Sukhudyan that Yerevan's Investigative Division had called her house and told her in a threatened voice to come to the police headquarters with her mother. "It turns out that the child was telling me what I was supposed to do without any notice or an advocate, but I wasn't able to get in touch with her after that," says Mariam Sukhudyan.

She is certain that if the case was opened, examined and appealed, there would be a longer list of criminals.

Let us remind that after the teacher's release, Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan fired school principal Meruzhan Yengibaryan.
