Nairi Badalyan, who was charged for the case of October 27 and is currently taking political refuge in the U.S., has come to Armenia to protest against all crimes "that have been committed in the period between 1999 and 2010 July 22 at 2:12 p.m."

"My demand is to see Armenia as a country and the warrant of all citizens' rights," he said during today's press conference.

Nairi Badalyan was charged for supporting the terrorist acts of October 27, 1999. The case was quashed due to lack of evidence on June 27, 2000 and Badalyan took political refuge in the U.S. on May 22, 2007.

He claims that he is being persecuted by the authorities and the opposition. Nevertheless, he has decided to continue the struggle he began in 2000, that is, to protest against the lack of activities of the investigative body.

Nairi Badalyan considers the last two presidents of Armenia, the prosecutor general and the military prosecutor and the chief of police as the main culprits and he demands from them 10 million dollar compensation for the material damage caused.
