Eggs sold under scorching sun
One can see eggs sold under the sun near Sasuntsi David metro station. Besides eggs, one can find vegetables, fruits and bread sold in the open market. Salespeople say the eggs are of great demand and they have numerous clients. Egg is sold at AMD10 to 25.
Though the eggs remain under the scorching sun for several hours, salespeople assured us that they are fresh and safe.
"If you do not believe my words, you can take it home and try," a saleswoman told A1+'s correspondent.
Nune Bakunts, Head of Legal Support and Documentation Circulation Management at Health-Ministry's State Hygienic and Anti-Epidemic Inspectorate, advises our citizens to buy food in shops.
"Food of animal origin is easily spoilt and must be kept in special temperature. If people use law-quality products they can develop infectious intestinal disease," Nune Bakunts said.
