Scores of people, including the relatives of pilots killed in a crash of an Armenian aircraft in Iran on May 17, 2001, crowded outside the RA President's residence Friday claiming compensation.

As usual, the protesters stood in silence stretching posters "SOS, Mr. President, tackle our problem!" and left the site in the hope of returning.

"We came here early in the morning to remind Mr. Serzh Sargsyan that our problem is still unaddressed," Larissa Ohanian, a relative of one of the deceased pilots, told A1+.

Today the protesters sent another letter to the president.

"All our letters were forwarded to the prime minister, who, in turn, sent them to the Civil Aviation. We are still uncertain as to when our problem will be solved."

"We hope that their conscience will wake up one day and they will realize that they are dealing with Armenian women and not Turks. Let them execute their own decisions," said Susanna Grigoryan.

The relatives of perished pilots are determined to continue protests until they have the problem finally settled.
