The RA Court of Appeals today started hearing into the case of legal successors of Levon Gulyan, director of Pandok restaurant, who died in a Yerevan police department in May 2007.

The criminal case was investigated by the RA Special Investigation Service since December 12, 2007. On March 12, 2008 the case was dropped due to lack of corpus delicti. On February 25, 2010 the victim's legal successors entered a cassation protest against the decision of the RA Criminal Court of Appeal.

On August 27, 2010, the Court of Cassation annulled the decisions on dropping the case and remitted the case to the Prosecutor's office for preliminary inquiry.
