Youth against violations
Youth members of the Armenian National Congress have issued a statement in the "AGAINST THE POLICE VIOLATIONS" group on Facebook.
"The "red-capped" groups are one of the instruments of the police. The groups feel like they own the city whenever they are not involved in the issues of the opposition. They especially like to show their "power" and strength toward young students in secluded areas.
We announce that in such cases, we will intervene not only during the opposition's actions, but at any moment and at any place as well. We call on the youth to come together to protect their rights. We also call on all citizens to inform the office of the Armenian National Congress about the obscene violations of the police," as stated in the statement issued by youth members of the Armenian National Congress.
