“Exemplary” vacation
Armenian public schools will be on fall vacation starting from October 25.
According to the "Exemplary student plans for the 2010-2011 academic school year in middle and special public schools", 3rd to 11th grade students will be on vacation from October 25 to 31 in the fall, December 27 to January 9, 2011 in the winter and March 21 to 27, 2011 in the spring.
First graders will be on vacation from October 25 to November 7 in the fall, from December 27 to January 23 in the winter and from March 21 to April 3 in the spring.
Second graders will be on vacation from October 25 to 31 in the fall, from December 27 to January 3 in the winter and from March 21 to 27 in the spring.
The authorized bodies for state educational management and territorial administration may make changes in the timeframes for vacation for their subordinate public schools after coming to terms with the RA Ministry of Education and Science.
