"A1+" will compete with "ArmNews"
The National Commission on Television and Radio today released the list of television companies that will participate in the cable tenders.
The Commission released the information after today's session during which the NCTR members voted in favor of the list of participants of the 18 tenders and NCTR Chairman Grigor Amalyan's proposal to release the schedule for publishing the applications and the attached documents.
There are two applications for municipal broadcasting and youth program broadcasting, including "A.L.M.-Holding" and "Yerevan" Television. In other words, "ALM" has rejected state broadcasting.
"AR" has also applied for digital municipal broadcasting with children's and youth programs, scientific, educational, disciplinary and cognitive programs.
"The discussion of the applications must be held in accordance with the tender sequence and according to the sequence of registration of applications for each. Since there are many applications for both tenders, the sequence of factual registration for the draft is determinant," said Grigor Amalyan.
Each applicant will have 30-45 minutes to present, but according to Grigor Amalyan, the timeframes are not fixed and are subject to change.
NCTR Chairman Grigor Amalyan also suggested handing the list of applicants and the schedule for opening the packages to the OSCE, the CE and representatives of the RA National Assembly who wish to attend the tender.
