Gallows in front of government building
Iranian citizen Umire Ismayilzade prepared a gallows with his own hands near the government building today. The police calmed down after they found out that he was simply protesting against the government. He and his friend Sbadake Ijad were demanding that the Armenian government follow the example of other countries and condemn the violations of human rights in Iran.
"Iranians don't have the opportunity to hold protests and that is why we are raising our voices in Armenia," Ijad told "A1+".
Iranian-Armenian Vardges Gaspari was also holding a protest near the government building, but he was demanding the release of Nikol Pashinyan. His silent action was interrupted in an instant when Justice Minister Gevorg Danielyan came out of the government building. Vardges Gaspari started screaming "Keep your hands off Nikol Pashinyan, traitors". The Minister stood in front of the protester for a moment, but left after seeing that he continued to raise his voice.
There were many photos and posters in front of the government building since all protests had different demands. President of "Kashatagh" organization Robert Simonyan had come to demand the RA government's resignation because, according to him, the government is betraying the people by selling all Armenian territories to the Turks, the Azeri, the Russians and the Georgians.
"No state organization or the National Security Service, the Prosecutor General's Office or judges have denied the facts, but there has not been any case brought up against the traitors either," Robert Simonyan told "A1+". "The current regime is serving other countries' interests."
The parents of soldiers killed in different military units in peace and the residents of the sale zone were at the government building too. Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan approached them after the government session.
