A memorial service for victims of 1988 Spitak earthquake was offered Saint Sargis Armenian Church in Damascus, Syria.
Armenian Ambassador to Syria Arshak Poladian, representatives of the Armenian embassy and Armenian community attended the liturgy.
After the service, Ambassador Poladian and Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Damascus, Bishop Armash Nalbandian delivered speeches.
