WB to allocate $25 million to Armenia
The World Bank approved Tuesday the $25-million loan program for Armenia. Armenia received the first loan ($ 60 million) in July 2009.
The sum will be particularly directed at covering the expenses of the socially disadvantaged, funding social security network strengthening programs and increasing access to pre-schools educational programs in poor communities.
Jean-Michel Happi, the World Bank Country Manager for Armenia, is hopeful that the economic growth will increase by 4-5% in 2011.
