No change at “Zvartnots”
Airport security is of primary importance in the fight against terrorism, but experience has shown that despite large sums, there are still flaws.
Public relations correspondent at "Zvartnots" International Airport Gevorg Abrahamyan assures that security is in accordance with all international norms at Armenian airports.
According to him, the airport ensures security in accordance with all norms of the International Association of Air Transportation and Civil Aviation International Organization, as well as the points stated in the RA legislation. Abrahamyan says "Zvartnots" and "Gyumri" international airports constantly receive new technologies and equipment to ensure security of passengers and the airport.
Gevorg Abrahamyan also notes that the police carry out security maintenance in the public zone and security officials work together in the area of registered passengers and for examination.
Gevorg Abrahamyan added that there are over 120 cameras controlling the entire territory of the airport.
