Rise in bread prices natural?
Wheat and flour prices continue to rise in Armenia. The past few days registered a new rise in bread and flour price in Yerevan shops.
"The main reason is the continuing rise in the cost of wheat in international markets," said Nelly Danileyan," Spokesperson for the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition (SCPEC).
The results of monitoring conducted by the SCPEC revealed no violations by wheat importers Alex Group and Manana Grey that have a dominant position on the market.
In recent days, bread prices have gone up by 20% across Armenia.
