Journalist beaten in Moscow
Sergei Topol, a recent well-known journalist, was beaten near his home in Moscow today morning.
Two men attacked the 65-year old man was near his home at Tinkers. Topol was hospitalized with a brain injury and multiple bruises. According to Russian media, his life is out of danger.
Topol started his journalism career at 49. Earlier he had worked as a geologist and cabman. He was for various media and is best known for his articles about traffic police, for which he earned the nickname "Winner of Cops."
