Elizabeth Taylor dies at 79
Legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor passed away at the age of 79.
Taylor had been hospitalized six weeks ago with congestive heart failure.
The actress suffered from diabetes and was confined to a wheelchair because of osteoporosis.
"I am hospitalized more frequently than people call taxis," Taylor said.
Taylor, a two-time Academy Award-winning actress who in later life became notorious for her seven marriages and sometimes eccentric behavior, had reported health problems in recent years and appeared frail in public appearances.
She will remain a bright, shining star in our memories as the leading character of "Cleopatra"
