Advocaat : “We need to be aggressive with Armenians”
Russian footballers need to be aggressive with Armenians in the UEFA EURO 2012 qualifier, chief coach of the Russian national team Dick Advocaat told journalists in Moscow.
"We have already watched the games of the Armenian team. The team is very aggressive and we need to give them the same reply. We are determined to win the game," said the Dutch coach.
"We need to play as we did in Ireland and Macedonia. I am sure that in that case our efforts will yield fruitful results. There are still 6 matches. As I always say, a prize awaits the winner in the end," said Advocaat.
The Russian team today started training.
Remind that Zenit's captain Aleksandr Anyukov has been disqualified and will not participate in the game.
Armenia-Russia Euro-2012 qualifier is due in Yerevan on March 26.
