Lung veins quarantine in Armenia
Operations for the Treatment of Beaming Auricles of the Heart will be held at the Arrhythmic- Cardiological Center of Armenia. These types of operations are being done for the first time in Armenia.
There will be more than 11 complex operations for the disturbance of heartbeats, including the so-called lung veins quarantine. The lung veins quarantine is considered a new, safe (low risk) and very effiicent method for the treatment of the beaming auricles of the heart and has been applied in the U.S. and Europe for nearly 5 years.
The operation is done without any cuts and the recuperation period takes an average of 24-30 hours.
This is the latest, groundbreaking method for conducting operations for the treatment of arrhythmia because it has the same results of an open operation.
According to the ACCA press release, operations will be done through the classic soundwave method and modern cooling methods.
In addition to planned operations, the ACCA will also conduct nearly 40 consultations, discussions on cases, as well as seminars to improve the doctors' skills and knowledge.
Starting in 2011, the ACCA plans to implement a series of new operations, including operations in association with the ACCA's U.S. partners for child patients.
